Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Pre-Sales Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-sales phase. They will collaborate with clients to understand their network requirements, design effective solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations to win new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored network solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Provide expert advice on network architectures, technologies, and best practices.
- Design network solutions based on customer needs and budget.
- Creating proposals, including network designs, diagrams, and cost estimates.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) testing to demonstrate solution effectiveness.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners for technical information and accurate proposals.
- Assist in developing sales strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and win rates.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar pre-sales role.
- Proficiency in routing, switching, security, and wireless network technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Paloalto products.
- Experience in designing complex network architectures and solutions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or PCNSA is desired.
- Occasional travel to client sites.
- Proactive approach to learning and staying updated with network technologies and trends.
