Job Summary

We are looking for an ‘Assistant Manager Pre-Sales System Engineer’ to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-sales phase. You will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design effective system solutions, and deliver compelling presentations to secure new business opportunities. You will play a crucial part in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop customized system solutions.
  • Conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase system benefits.
  • Providing expert advice on architectures, technologies, and best practices.
  • Designing and configuring system solutions based on customer needs.
  • Assisting in creating proposals and conducting proof-of-concept testing.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) testing and evaluations to showcase the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Customer site visit for sales call.
  • Collaborating with vendors for accurate solution proposals.
  • Contributing to sales strategies for customer satisfaction and success.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Providing technical support during customer interactions.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of pre-sales or system engineer experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications like MCSE, VCP, or RHCE are desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, and VMware platforms.
  • Familiarity with HCI solutions and backup technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in designing complex system architectures.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Occasional travel to client sites.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build client relationships.
  • Proactive approach to learning and staying updated with latest technologies and trends.
