Position Title: ‘Assistant Manager’ System Engineer (Post Sales)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. Key areas of expertise include server, storage, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtualization, and backup solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, ensuring their business requirements are met and delivering high-quality solutions. Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation are integral parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing customized server, storage, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Optimizing virtualization platforms and troubleshooting server environments.
  • Planning storage expansion and implementing backup and recovery solutions.
  • Collaborating with teams to integrate and optimize infrastructure components.
  • Providing technical support and guidance during implementation and post-sales.
  • On site visit for implementation and support  
  • Configuring and managing Red Hat and Linux systems.
  • Staying updated with latest trends in server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Creating documentation and presenting solutions to clients.
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of System Engineer experience with expertise in server, storage, HCI, virtualization, backup, and Linux.
  • Proficient with Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, SAN, NAS, and hyper-converged solutions.
  • Skilled in VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas).
  • Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (RHCE, VCP) a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Proactive and self-motivated to stay updated with the latest technologies.
